← Coats and Jackets Worth the InvestmentGreen Parkas That Go With More Than You'd Think
Green is the color most men talk themselves out of before they've even tried it. Which is a shame, because a well cut parka in the right shade of green is one of the more versatile outer layers you can build a cold weather wardrobe around. Olive works with navy, grey, brown, tan, and most denim without any effort. Army green does similar things. Even deeper forest tones have more range than people give them credit for. The mistake is usually in the parka itself, not the color. A boxy one with too much branding and cheap nylon looks like a camping trip gone wrong. The ones we've pulled together here have cleaner proportions, proper fill, and the kind of finish that makes them as useful over a tailored trouser as they are over jeans. Cold errands, weekend travel, the commute that turned miserable. These cover all of it without looking like they're trying too hard.
