Blue is doing a lot of work in menswear right now and the vest is quietly one of the best ways to use it. Not navy, not cobalt, but the full range of blue in between, from slate and steel through to richer indigo tones that layer over a shirt without competing with it. The vest as a layering piece gets underused by most men and we think that's a mistake. It adds structure without weight, gives an outfit a clear focal point, and solves that specific problem of needing something more than a shirt but less than a jacket.
