Most printed polos earn their keep for about one summer and then spend the rest of their lives at the back of a drawer. The print dates, the fabric pills, the collar loses its shape after three washes, and the whole thing starts to look like a mistake. We’ve been looking specifically for the ones that avoid all of that. Prints that are considered rather than loud, with enough character to make a plain outfit worth looking at without overwhelming it. The kind of thing that works for a weekend lunch, a casual Friday, or that particular warm evening where a plain shirt feels like too much effort and a t-shirt feels like too little. Fabric and collar construction matter here just as much as they do on a plain polo. Maybe more, because a bad base makes a busy print look worse fast. These are the printed polos we’d actually wear two summers running.
