The scoop neck tank is one of those pieces that men either wear very well or completely ignore, and we think the latter group is missing something useful. It sits lower at the chest than a crew neck, which gives it a more relaxed, considered feel without trying to be anything it isn’t. Worn under an open overshirt it looks intentional. On its own at the gym or in summer heat it looks clean rather than thrown together. The problem is that most of them are cut too boxy, made from fabric that pills after four washes, or sized so inconsistently that ordering online is a gamble. We’ve been looking specifically for tanks that hold their shape, drape well across the chest, and work for men who care about how they look even when they’re dressed down. A good scoop neck tank should never look like an afterthought. These ones do not.
