Most graphic tees want you to read them like a billboard. A band name, a slogan, something that announces itself before you’ve even crossed the room. That’s fine, but it’s not what this collection is about. Geometric print is a different proposition. It adds visual weight and considered detail without making the shirt the entire conversation. The problem most men run into is that geometric can tip into something that looks like it belongs at a music festival circa 2014, or worse, a corporate team building exercise. The difference is in the scale of the pattern, the restraint of the colorway, and the quality of the base fabric. We’ve been specifically looking for pieces where the geometry feels like a design decision rather than an afterthought. Shirts that work tucked into tailored trousers as well as they do with a good pair of shorts. These are the ones where the print earns its place on the shirt.
